8 Things To Do In KHARGHAR

Kharghar is one of the most interesting places I've ever been. Having spent most of my college life here, I love everything about this place. Cafes, parks, waterfalls, anything you name it, it's all there. Here's a list of things that you should consider doing whenever you're in or around Kharghar.

1. Cycling- Easily rent a cycle from Yulu mobile app. There are many yulu spots in Kharghar, one is in utsav chowk and another one near NIFT college. Cycles are available in just 10 rupees. Doesn’t it sounds fun? Enjoy and explore the city on two wheels.

2. Utsav Chowk- The beautiful circle and the fountain in middle of the heart of Kharghar. You can reach here by just following the flyover bridge from the station. The place is a jogger’s paradise. Come here for a peaceful walk or to click pictures. You will find people of all age groups enjoying their time.

3. Kharghar Hills- Popularly known as Driving Range. This place is heaven during the monsoon. You can easily reach here by taking an auto rickshaw from the station. The long range of hills which you see in the backdrop of Kharghar. You can look over the beautiful city from the top of the hill. You can go to the top and spend quality time there with your friends and family. It is at times dangerous going through the paths. If this had been managed well, this could have been a very good picnic spot.

4. Central Park- You can easily reach here by taking an auto rickshaw from the railway station. A very big and open field where kids can play and adults can walk/jog. Entry is free for everyone. Big sitting area in form of amphitheater is perfect for relaxation and offers an amazing view. You come here to peacefully watch the sunrise and sunset.

5. Pandavkhada Waterfalls- A beautiful waterfall is awaiting just a few minutes away from the city. The waterfall is about 107 metres high. It is a type of 'plunge' waterfall in nature pouring in massive amounts of water on the rocky surface underneath. Great spot for a quick trek. Enjoy but remember one thing safety is priority.

6. Little World Mall- As the name suggests “Little” world, the mall is small but consists of everything one expects to see in a mall. If you don’t like to roam in big malls then this is the right place for you. Here you will find many big as well as small brands along with a cinema hall and a small food court. So what are you waiting for, go and raid this mall. Shop your heart out!

7. Iskcon Temple- Hare Krishna!! It is a nice place for all the devotees. A very peaceful place, full of positive energy. One should visit once in a while, for solitude and peace within oneself.

8. Street Food -Kharghar Railway Station- After a tiring day from exploring the city you must be hungry. Outside the station, there are a lot and lot of street food joints which will satisfy your hunger and won’t make any hole in your pocket.
