Famous Masala Vada Pav of Mulund | Kalidas Masala Pav Mulund West

Image
Heard so much about this place so me and friends thought to give it a try.  10 to 15 mins walking distance from the station.  Easy to locate.  The place  isn't that hygienic but it sure does know how to attract the customers. We ordered two Masala Vada Pav. It costs 25 rupees for one masala pav. They also serve samosas and bhajiyas. They prepared the masala pav right in front of you. Thick gravy mixed with some chutney. Don't know how to describe it but it felt really good. The smell while it was being prepared.  Although I didn't liked the vada that much. But the masala pav is worth all your money. Image
Street food never lets you down right.  I was on a food hunt with my friend. Came across this place. One of the popular food joints in the local famous for sandwiches and pizzas.  It's a small food joint nearby to the railway station. Here's the list of items that we tried- ◾Mozzerella Paneer Pizza.  7 inches of pure satisfaction. Highly recommended. Definitely try it if you ever visit this place. 5/5. ◾Cheese Corn Shezwan Garlic Bread. A perfect combination of cheese and shezwan. A little messy and spicy affair. Taste 4/5. Overall the place is really worth all your money. I would highly recommend you all to visit this place. Cafes, parks, waterfalls, anything you name it, it's all there. Here's a list of things that you should consider doing whenever you're in or around Kharghar. 1. Cycling- Easily rent a cycle from Yulu mobile app. There are many yulu spots in Kharghar, one is in utsav chowk and another one near NIFT college. Cycles are available in just 10 rupees. Doesn’t it sounds fun? Enjoy and explore the city on two wheels. 2. Utsav Chowk- The beautiful circle and the fountain in middle of the heart of Kharghar. You can reach here by just following the flyover bridge from the station. The place is a jogger’s paradise. Come here for a peaceful walk or to click pictures. You will find people of all age groups enjoying their time. 3. Kharghar Hills- Popularly known as Driving Range. This place is heaven during the monsoon. Y...

I’m just a normal guy born into a middle class family who has a desire to travel. I have traveled to 2 countries, 15 states and god knows how many cities. But that’s just not it. So many more places to visit. We all have a desire to travel, to explore new places, to go to a new city or town, to explore different street foods and so on. But still many of us are waiting for the right time or held back by something or some thought. People think travelling is expensive. Exploring new places, new cultures, food, etc is expensive.  Well it is not!! I'm starting this blog to share my experience with you all. There are so many ways in which you can travel which won't cost you any fortune. My experience tells me to travel how the locals do. Travel by train, take a local bus ride, avoid expensive restaurants and enjoy the local street food. Turn strangers into friends. Share each others story. Why "brown" boy adventures? In India, more than half of the population ...
