As the name suggests, this place is famous for their Maharashtrain food. Simple interior and huge dine in restaurant. Ample seating space. Not so fancy yet very eye pleasing decor and cozy interior. They have wall paintings dedicated to the places and fishermen/women of Maharashtra.


We were welcomed with complimentary kokum sharbat shots. It was quite refreshing and tasted really good.


Here's the list of items that we tried-

Prawns Papad.
For the people who love seafood and Prawns should definitely give it a try. The papad was very crispy and you would get the flavours of prawn in every bite. Taste 4/5

Chicken Soup.
This was hands down one of the best soups. When mixed with lemon it tastes even better. The quantity of soup was great and also the amount of chicken was very sufficient. Taste 5/5

Basa Tikka.
This one is highly recommended. Boneless fish Tikka served with pudina chutney. Looks good, tastes even better. Taste 5/5

Chicken Kolhapuri Thali.
3 types of chicken was served- Chicken Kolhapuri, Chicken Fry and Chicken Bhuna. Served with 2 types of rassa and 2 rotis with salad.
Chicken fry was really good. The rest were average. Also Kolhapuri is supposed to be spicy and this wasn't spicy at all. Taste 4/5

Mutton Bheja Thali.
Bheja fry and khima fry, two types of rassa served with a bakhri and a salad. Good in taste. Huge quantity. Taste 4/5

Thalis are very much sufficient for one person. The quantity is really great. They also serve rice with roti. Worth your money.

Caramel Custurd.
This was the best dessert ever. Soft and creamy, melts down in your tongue as you take a bite. This one's highly recommended. Taste 4.5/5


Overall its a good place to have a complete meal with your friends and family. Staff is very attentive. Very much helpful with the menu. Price may seem a little expensive but the quantity and hospitality by the staff is really great.

I recently visited this place with my friends to try their Asur Thali which they have newly launched. The thali includes chicken curry, Mutton curry, prawns masala, Chicken tandoori, solkadi, Pomfret fry, mandeli fry, jeera rice, Chicken biryani, egg biryani, boiled eggs, butter roti, butter naan and bakhri. This thali is enough for 4 to 6 people. If you're planning to visit with your family or friends then this is the perfect choice for you. The preparation takes around 30 to 40 mins. Very great and inovative concept of Charcoal Shawarma. This is the first time anyone is selling Charcoal Shawarma in Badlapur. They serve so many different flavours and varieties of shawarma like cheese, peri peri, garlic and so on at reasonable rates. The best part about this place is the amount of chicken. The quantity they give is really satisfying. The Shawarma is prepared with right amount of charcoal & no burned taste in it. The pita bread was soft and perfectly cooked.  Charcoal Chicken has a more smoky and a caramelized texture, hence giving the shawarma a different taste and a different feel.
