The Food Town Thane | Best Vegetarian Cafe in Thane

The food town has now opened its door in thane. Walkable distance from thane station. The ambiance is the real attraction. Ample seating space. 

Here's the list of items that we tried-

Mocktails- Bali beach, Green Chiller.
Taste 4.5/5 It was quite refreshing. And not too heavy on the tummy. 


Xialong Dumpling Soup.

Served hot and fresh. The flavours will get to you with every sip. Surprisingly turned out to be good. Definitely give it a try. Taste 5/5.


Chilli Cheese Garlic Bread.

Not much spicy, but it was damn cheesy. Bread was soft and spungy and the flavour was good. Taste 4.5/5 


Red Chilli Toast.

Highly recommended. Spicy and at its best. Taste 5/5. 


Nachos Corn Queso.

If you like things cheesy and messy, then go for it. Taste 5/5.



Cheese Burst Pizza.

Tasty and heavy on the tummy. Taste 4/5 


Kulfi Idli.

This was very unique and innovative. Idli served in kulfi style with thai sauce. Taste 4/5. 


Lava Idli.

Again unique and innovative dish. Masala/sauce stuffed inside idli. Taste 4/5.


Paneer Pataya.

A vegetarians delight. Healthy 'cause of the green veggies. Paneer tossed in green creamy curry. Taste 4/5. 


Tortellini Pink Pasta.

Recommened by the staff. It was quite good but also too much cheesy. Quite heavy on the tummy. Taste 4/5.


Oriental Sizzler.

Consists of Manchurian, noodles, fries and veggies. Satisfies both your hunger and taste buds. Taste 5/5.


Chocolate Dumplings.

Dumplings stuffed with chocolate. Available in both dark and white chocolate. Taste 5/5.


Overall my experience was really great. The staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. Service was quick even though the place was crowded. Definitely visit.

The thali includes chicken curry, Mutton curry, prawns masala, Chicken tandoori, solkadi, Pomfret fry, mandeli fry, jeera rice, Chicken biryani, egg biryani, boiled eggs, butter roti, butter naan and bakhri. This thali is enough for 4 to 6 people. If you're planning to visit with your family or friends then this is the perfect choice for you. The preparation takes around 30 to 40 mins. Very great and inovative concept of Charcoal Shawarma. This is the first time anyone is selling Charcoal Shawarma in Badlapur. They serve so many different flavours and varieties of shawarma like cheese, peri peri, garlic and so on at reasonable rates. The best part about this place is the amount of chicken. The quantity they give is really satisfying. The Shawarma is prepared with right amount of charcoal & no burned taste in it. The pita bread was soft and perfectly cooked.  Charcoal Chicken has a more smoky and a caramelized texture, hence giving the shawarma a different taste and a different feel.
